Join us as a Hope Partner
PRAYER
We will cover the school, students, families, and staff in prayer.
- Add Washington Upper Elementary to your prayer list and commit to regularly pray for the students, families, and staff.
- Join together for prayer gatherings at Washington Upper Elementary.
PRESSENCE
We will be present to build relationships with staff and students.
- Become a Play Partner: play partners spend time with students during recess (third Tuesday of each month).
- Serve as a Mentor: mentors are matched one-on-one with students to encourage, listen, and build relationships.
- Prepare notes or cards of encouragement for the administrators, teachers, and staff.
PARTNERSHIP
We will partner to support the staff in practical and encouraging ways.
- Purchase Classroom Supplies: specific needs of the school and classrooms, available to teachers throughout the year.
- Support Teachers’ Wishlists: teachers have created Amazon wishlists of supplies and materials for their classrooms.
- Contribute to blessing the teachers and staff with donuts and coffee or in another practical way to show support and love.

Become a Play Partner
Play Partners are caring adults who visit students monthly during recess to provide children the opportunity to participate in healthy and appropriate conversations with a caring adult.
